Ms. A.J. Robinson (Speech and Language Therapist): I have been a speech-language pathologist for 35 years. For the last 10 years, I have been fortunate enough to work at Crocker Highlands as a contributor to a truly collaborative, educational team approach. I love working with children to help them develop their communication skills. I welcome teachers and parents into the speech room. I’m here to discuss areas related to communication, such as articulation, apraxia, autism, fluency, language and social skills. My initial degree is in art and English. I got a teaching credential before pursuing another degree in communicative disorders. Before doing speech-language therapy in the schools, I was a special education teacher. I see art, music and literature all tied together to enhance our communicative interactions.
