Ms. Doersam

My name is Ms. Doersam (pronounced like “door-some”). I was born, raised, and educated here in the Bay Area. I received both a B.A. and my credential at CSU East Bay. I currently live in the South East Bay, but I enjoy traveling and eating all over the Bay Area!

Prior to coming to Crocker, I taught first grade in Alameda at a Title I school. I also worked as a paraprofessional in special education for two years before pursuing my teaching credential. While I enjoyed my time in Alameda, I needed to grow even more as an educator, so I looked for new experiences at Crocker! This will be my second year teaching Kindergarten here!

Aside from a passion for teaching and learning, in my free time I like to go on walks, eat, enjoy the beach, and take my dogs on small adventures. I have two female German Shepherd Dogs named Coco and Eva. Together we love to hike, go to the park, and rest at home.

I look forward to working together with you to give our students a supportive, nurturing, and engaging school experience!
