This year’s Walkathon is scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 9:30-3:00.
This major fundraiser is the first in the school year and really involves the efforts of all children, parents and our community. Each year the students collect pledges and walk a 0.4 mile course around the neighborhood near the school, earning prizes and a sense of pride as they rack up laps around the course.The Walkathon is a fun and easy way for parents to get involved, volunteer and share in a sense of Crocker community.
Walkathon packets went home with your children on Friday September 28 and the deadline for turning in forms is October 19th. To get involved, contact Co-Chairs Laura O’Hare and Leonora Willis at walkathon@crockerschool.org and if you need replacement copies of those forms, you can download them here or stop in the office to pick up a new packet.
