Great programs require great support.
Did you know that the PTA through fundraising provides physical education, music, computer instruction, a librarian, and discretionary teacher–directed projects and scholarships? These programs are critical components of your children’s educational experience. However, without your support and the community, they would not exist.
Financial Support
This school year 2009-10, Crocker needs to raise $188,605 to cover the programs mentioned above. This translates to spending $550 per child. We realize some families can’t afford to give $550 per child and others can afford more. We hope EVERY family will participate in their own capacity and through this effort we will meet our goal. We are looking for 100% participation – every family giving what they can to support these important programs.
The Annual Giving Campaign is critical to our fundraising efforts. There are only two other substantial fundraisers the entire year (the walkathon and the auction) to generate additional funds. Annual Giving requires the least amount of time and overhead. It is the fundraiser with the highest percent to the bottom line dollars. The more money we raise with Annual Giving the closer we are to making our goal of raising $550 per child with less effort required and less money spent doing fundraising.
Annual Giving starts now. To show our appreciation, the first 100 families who donate by 9/30/09 will receive a free colorful Crocker T-shirt! What a great way to start the school year.
