Welcome to my webpage. I have composed a brief overview to acquaint you with my background and goals.
I am a Berkeley, California native. I graduated from Bishop O’Dowd High School and received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Southern California in Cinema-Television Production. In 2005, I returned to the Bay Area and I became the owner of a licensed Child Care Facility. I cared for infants through pre-school aged children. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Education at Holy Names University.
I love working with children and I am dedicated to helping children move forward academically and developmentally by incorporating effective classroom management, active teaching practices, and differentiated instruction. My goal is to engage students in learning experiences that will adequately prepare them for paths in education and lifetime achievement.
Kindergarten is the school year in which children form opinions about school and learning that will last a lifetime. I aim to make a positive contribution in each child’s first impressions about his or her educational endeavors. I facilitate a safe, stimulating, and supporting learning environment. I appreciate that each child has a unique set of characteristics and capabilities. I aim to ensure that students hold a sense of educational responsibility for themselves, while respecting the needs of others.
